"Life itself is the proper binge." Julia Child

We've formed a cookbook club. To quote the club's founder: "The premise is that we have so many unused cookbooks around the kitchen (ahem: house) or ones that we've barely tapped into. There are so many times that you may use the cookbook for recipes that are similar to the dishes that you feel most comfortable making and you don't "branch out" very much. The cookbook club works like this: someone chooses a cookbook and then everyone cooks recipes out of that particular cookbook. You can buy it or find it at the library or borrow each other's copies. Look through it and decide what appeals to you and then pick a dish to share. Then we gather at someone's house (or another place, like a park in the summer or whatever) and try the delicious foods!
